Best Rock Guitar
Rock in its current form started with Elvis and later evolved via the Beatles, but the modern rock sound is undoubtedly heavily influenced by the work of Jimi Hendrix. Rock is best known for its driving rhythm, rebellious structure and lyrics, and overdriven guitar sound.
Arguably the most common guitar in rock is the twin humbucking Gibson Les Paul. A mainstay of rock guitarists everywhere, even the Stratocaster playing Jimi Hendrix was known to play them on occasion.
