Best Blues Guitar

The blues is a unique, American style of music largely influenced by African-American culture during the early 1900s. Some of the early bluesmen like Robert Johnson played mostly cheap acoustic guitars and played delta style acoustic blues, known for its slow, looping tempo. In the 50s and 60s there was a revival of the blues but in an electric format. Both Fender and Gibson guitars were common during this era and remain the most used guitars for blues.

Arguably the most common electric blues guitar, the Fender Stratocaster features 3 single coil pickups and a bolt on neck. The simple construction made it cheaply available, but still revered for the excellent construction.

Another blues icon, the Gibson ES335 Dot, was played by the legendary B.B. King. It is a semi hollow body guitar with 2 humbucking pickups.
