Voodoo Chile is a track by the Jimi Hendrix Experience off the album Electric Ladyland. Electric Ladyland was the third and final album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience. The song has a very strong blues sound and essentially a fifteen minute jam session. It features the work Mitch Mitchell on drums, Steve Winwood on the keys, and Jack Cassidy on bass. While the song may seem like a live recording, the noise of the crowd was actually added later during production. Hendrix is playing a right handed Fender Stratocaster flipped upside down, because he was a left handed guitar player.
