"Floods" is a song by heavy metal band Pantera, featuring the guitar work of late superstar Dimebag Darrel. The song was released on their 1996 album "The Great Southern Trendkill." The song is basically all about a massive flood that sweeps in and destroys all of mankind. Dimebag's solo in this song is ranked the twelfth greatest guitar solo of all time on the list of one hundred compiled by Guitar World. The solo was originally a riff written by Dimebag sometime in the eighties. Dimebag is well known to play with the equipment of Dean Guitars.
