Ranked #10 - Crossroads by Eric Clapton

Cream is responsible for the most legendary cover of the Robert Johnson song, "Crossroads". The singer of the song sells his soul to the devil in exchange for a career as a successful blues musician.
During his Cream years, Clapton played a Gibson SG. he played his psychedelic SG at the Winterland in 1968 when Crossroads was recorded. Although Jack Bruce usually sang for Cream, Eric Clapton did the vocals on Crossroads. Several versions of Crossroads exist, from very slow and bluesy, to a very hyped up version.
