Carlos Santana

Carlos Santana is best known for his Latin influenced rock and roll guitar sound that is extremely distorted but still "smooth." His key to his tone is his humbucker equipped guitars and a guitar preamp like Mesa Boogie.

The one guitar that currently is most played by Carlos is his PRS brand guitar. He has been known to align himself with his particular signature guitar, and actually plays a production model.
