Ibanez AF75 Artcore Hollowbody
How Ibanez managed to completely break the mold and create a great sounding and playing jazz box without the outrageous price tag is a mystery, and they aren't telling. Traditionally, jazz hollow-bodies were extremely expensive but this modern line of Artcore guitars are a great starting point for anyone who loves jazz guitar or wants a bluesy hollow-body sound.
With two humbuckers and maple construction, the sound is round but retains a subtle bite when the tone knobs are 100% open. The traditional smooth jazz tone is achieved through subtle EQ'ing and setting the tone knobs closed.
